Wagons Ho!

After a long weekend we headed down to Spring City on Monday night for an evening with the pioneers. Jason and the girls are staying for a couple of days to go on a wagon train ride, but Grady and I just came for dinner and a cowboy poet campfire. It was so cool see the Wagons circled like in the old days.

Class of '07

It's Graduation day for Amelia, the day she has been dreading all year long. She absolutely loves her preschool class and teachers. She doesn't understand that they won't all be going to kindergarten with her.

Bath time?

During the summer we usually end up 'prewashing' the kids before we fill the tub with water. I think we found our new prewash cycle! They were cleaner than when they started sliding, except the ketchup never came off of Grady's face and they may have had a lot more grass on their feet.

We saw how much fun the girls were having so we decided to share the joy with Grady!

It turns out our little chicken Grady didn't want to slide, he just wanted to swing!

Ahhh... all better!

Spring has Sprung!

Spring has sprung and so have the tulips, daffodils, and the irrigation water! Last Saturday we came home from a long day of shopping to discover... the hose! It was hot and Grady had never played with the hose before, it seemed like a good combination. The girls watered the flowers and the grass and Grady watered himself! Hey, he's a growing boy!

Grady Gets Cozy

We have enjoyed the most beautiful spring weather the past few weeks, but today the cold returned! It reminded me of a collection of photos I have of Grady sitting in his favorite cold weather spot- on top of the heater vent!

Sometimes Sydnie or Amelia will Steal his favorite vent, the one in the kitchen by the sliding door, so he will crawl under the side table and warm up under there.

Love is in the air!

Happy Valentines Day!

This year we didn't quite get around to sending out Christmas cards. Who started that tradition anyway? Christmas time is the busiest time of year, and I am not superwoman! So, I thought maybe we would send out valentines instead.. I said maybe, we'll see if I get it done! Yesterday Auntie Sara took our pictures for us, I think she does a great job.

Jason and I haven't had our photos taken together since... well, our wedding??? It was fun to be silly, even if we are too old to look really cute.

We set each of the kids on the rock to get their pictures taken- it was the perfect place , they couldn't get down and run away from the camera! Amelia loves to pose, but to get Sydnie and Grady to smile we all have to jump up and down, act like monkeys and sometimes even pretend to fart! Hey- whatever works! I love their silly cheesy smiles.
