Ainsleys Adventures!

Lately nothing has inspired me to blog, but I have watched my update date go from 3 days, to 3 weeks, and I fear I will let it go to 3 months if I don't JUST DO IT! So I've decided to post a few photos of my growing beebers...

A day in the life of Ainsley May

Ainsley isn't quite sure what she should and shouldn't be afraid of. She just sat and stared at the dino-- daring it to make a move, when it did she kicked it over! Recently she met a little puppy, much smaller than her. The little furry ball walked right up to her, she was so excited! She went to touch it, but it barked and she screamed in terror!

Oreo fudgee cookies are her new favorites! However Ainsley also enjoys anything that she finds leftover on the floor under the table. She has also unsucessfully tried to eat: a fuzzy craft pom pom ball, push pin, Hershey kiss wrapper, a leaf, bouncy ball, and has successfully eaten an entire box of tissues.

Ok.. I know I'm her mom, but she is a true princess here. I love to cuddle her when she is sleeping (she won't hold still long enough to cuddle when she is awake) and kiss her little lips. Lately I get an upclose view of her sleeping because, I confess... MY NINE MONTH OLD STILL SLEEPS IN HER SWING! Except, now she is big enough to climb out of her swing, it's only a small drop to the carpet. So, I usually rock this spoiled princess to sleep, cuddle her for a while and then carefully slip her into her swing.

uh ooo... ( uh oo is her newest word) I took her valentine sucker away! When she wrinkles her nose she is either MAD or trying to be silly, either way we always laugh because she looks so funny.

Our friend Katherine sent us a goody box full of fun things, two being Tasty Cakes (a yummy treat with cake, peanut butter and chocolate) and silly string. I was watching the kids spray each other with the silly string outside, and taking pictures and laughing and ignoring Ainsley in the house. Grady sprayed the silly string into the house so I went to clean it up... I found Ainsley covered in silly string, happily eating a tasty cake, She must have known I wouldn't have given her one if she had asked. I decided to let her finish the tasty cake in peace, when she was finished she started to eat the silly string, that is when I had to step in!

I have to admit I was going into the kitchen to get after this naughty boy! He LOVES water, and will do anything to play in it-- He has been known to pee his pants because I wouldn't let him get into the tub, and everyone knows that if you pee your pants mom puts you in the bathtub! I walked into the kitchen saying "TURN OFF THE WATER NOW!!!", and then I saw Grady 'washing the dishes'!So I let my Grady 'wash' the dishes, and I took pictures because all of the thoughtful and sweet things he does are REALLY OUTNUMBERED by the rotten and naughty things he does. Thanks for your help Grady!

It's only been... 9 years 2 months since we last had Strong Family pictures taken. When we finally decided to get them done we couldn't wait till spring! So here is a little sneak peak at our frozen family photos, stolen from the photographers website!
Here we are! We had pictures taken first and then everyone got their family pictures taken against this wall so we decided to do one here too... except by then our kids were all out of smiles! I hope the first ones were a little more smiley, but if not, hey THAT IS MY REAL LIFE! We don't usually have a day when everyone is happy all at once!

Sweet Dreams Sleeping Beauty!

Tonight Sydnie made a little bed for herself on the couch and tucked herself in. After I finished reading with Amelia I went to check on my little Syd, but instead I found Sleeping Beauty! Sydnie had attatched a door hanger from her princess coloring book to her wrist... can you read it?

Shhhh! Princesses Sleeping. Earlier in the day she had put it on Ainsleys bedroom door while she napped, but when everyone was going to bed she must have decided that the sign belonged on the real princess, which OF COARSE is Sydnie!

Introducing Ainsley???

I know that there is no way possible to catch up on the past year and a half of life without 'dot com', but I have to catch up on posting the most important thing that happened this year, our Ainsley! She deserves a spot of her own on this page! She is seven months old now, she has a big personality and a little body. I love that she isn't growing too fast... I had her on the kitchen table today as I was folding a load of towels and she was flapping her arms so hard (because she was so excited) I thought she would fly away! I had to snap a few shots of her huge smile and share one with those of you who have missed the first seven months of this precious girls life! Here is our Ainsley, just sitting on the kitchen table... don't you want to eat her up?

Happy #3 Grady!!!

Happy Birthday to the naughtiest little two year old, and the sweetest three year old I've ever known! Let us put the past year behind us and call it terrible twos, and start anew today! Here is a little memory of my baby boy... just like his momma he's a little chubby,and he loves chocolate! I Love you Grady Jay! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
